In over twenty years of Delphina we have wandered through villages that we did not know ourselves, to discover the little delights that the alchemies of time have not erased. We have selected the “best of the best” for our guests: the products of small culinary artisans that we now offer you.
This selection is the result of years of our Sardinian hospitality experience, where offering the best is a matter of honour and pride but also and above all the natural result of our culture and identity, the result of those flavours to which we have been accustomed since young, those of our mothers or grandmothers, those made at home and those which others went to seek out in the surrounding countryside or which were brought by friends from the “far away” villages on feast days and celebrations.
A selection based not only on the knowledge of flavours but on the feelings that certain things still manage to evoke. Feelings that we like to remember every time, maybe because they are linked to our childhood, maybe because from their taste we feel a close connection with a fortunate, healthy and genuine land. Perhaps we care about these feelings and therefore about these products because they make us understand that if safeguarded and preserved, certain things can live on in time and be handed down, like memories and what is part of the culture of a place together with being together in moments of joy.
